Most designs are concerned with the interaction of colour and shape.Mandy creates one-off pieces for exhibition and to commission. Interior pieces are typically made from hand dyed cotton stretched over canvas. Banners are stitched from weatherproof rip-stop nylon. Mandy's work is in private collections in the UK, Europe and the US.

Mandy is a member of Ashford Visual Artists, an arts association dedicated to raising awareness of local arts culture, and was Chairman of South East Open Studios 2004. She was also elected into the Society of Designer Craftsmen in 2003.
